Deepcup Privacy Policy

Eivrad LLC ("we") handles user information in the app "Deepcup" (the "App") as follows.

1. Information sent outside your device
   The App does not send your information outside your device, either to our servers or to any other company's service. The App contains no components for advertising, usage analytics, crash reporting, or purchase processing. All songs, ambient sounds, loop art, and fonts are included in the App, so it works without an internet connection.
2. Information stored on your device
   The App stores the following only on your device, to show and run the App. We do not receive it.
   • Timer settings and progress (the kind of timer, its lengths and the rounds before a long break, whether the next round starts by itself, the current round and time left)
   • Sound settings (music on or off, music style, volume, song speed, ambient sounds and their levels)
   • The song and the place in it when you pause (so that it plays on from there when you resume)
   • Scene settings (art style, scene, motion, motion speed, whether scenes follow the timer)
   • The keep-screen-on setting
   • Marks such as whether you have seen the guide and whether the App has asked for permission to send notifications
   • The time left and timer state shown on the Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island, in Home Screen widgets, and in the Android notification (on iPhone, stored in on-device storage shared by the App and its widgets [App Group])
3. Device features
   • Notifications for the end of each focus and break are scheduled on your device. We do not send them from a server (no push notifications).
   • The Lock Screen and Dynamic Island displays, Home Screen widgets, and playback controls are features of the operating system and run on your device.
   • On Android, "Alarms & reminders" is used to notify you on time.
   • The App does not use your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or advertising identifiers (such as the IDFA).
4. Operating-system backups
   Depending on your device settings, the App's settings may be included in iCloud or Google backups, which are handled under those providers' policies. We do not receive these backups and cannot delete them.
5. Information collected by the operating-system providers
   Downloads from the App Store or Google Play, and diagnostic information you choose to share (such as reports when an app stops working), are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies. We may receive statistics and diagnostic reports from them that do not identify you (such as download counts and the number of crashes).
6. Retention and deletion
   Information on your device remains until you delete the App, and is removed when you delete it (unless it is restored from an operating-system backup). You can reset the sound settings with "最初の音に戻す" (Reset sounds) in "くわしく" (More). We do not store information about users of the App, so there is nothing for us to delete on request.
7. Inquiries
   Information you send through our contact form (such as your name, email address, and message) is handled under our Privacy Policy (https://eivrad.com/privacy.html, in Japanese).
8. Children
   The App does not collect information from anyone, of any age.
9. Ads and tracking
   The App shows no ads and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not sell user information.
10. Your rights and how to make a request
    You, or your representative, may ask us, for the personal information we hold about you, to tell you the purposes for which we use it; to disclose it; to correct, add to, or delete it; to stop using it or erase it; to stop providing it to third parties; and to disclose records of any such provision. For this App, the only information we hold is the record of your inquiries. To make a request, open the contact form and select "個人情報の開示等のご請求" (Requests concerning personal information) as the Subject. The procedure is described in section 7 of our Privacy Policy. There is no fee. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may also complain to the data protection authority in your country or region (in Japan, the Personal Information Protection Commission, www.ppc.go.jp).
11. Changes to this policy
    We may change this policy when laws change, when the App's features change, or for similar reasons. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, such as collecting new types of information, sending it to new recipients, or using it for new purposes, we will show the effective date on this page and post the change before that date, and, where possible, also let you know in the App.
