Nou no Osanpo Privacy Policy

Eivrad LLC ("we") handles user information in the app "脳のおさんぽ" (Nou no Osanpo, the "App") as follows.

1. Information sent outside your device (what, to whom, and why)
   The App uses Google's advertising component (the Google Mobile Ads SDK) to show ads. This component sends the information below to Google. The App does not send your information to our servers (we run no servers for the App), and it does not send your play records.

   Recipient

   Google LLC (United States), through its ad service Google AdMob

   Information sent

   • IP address (used to estimate your general location)
   • Device identifiers (on Android, the advertising ID and the app set ID; on iPhone and iPad, identifiers that work only within one company's apps. The App does not use the iPhone and iPad advertising identifier, the IDFA)
   • How you interact with the App (such as opening the App, and ad views and taps)
   • Information about the ads shown
   • Diagnostic information (such as how long the App takes to start and how well it runs) and technical information such as device type, operating system, and language

   Purposes

   Showing ads, measuring ads, preventing invalid clicks and other fraud, and analyzing and improving Google's services

   When

   When you open the App, and when an ad loads on a screen that shows ads (the home screen, the screen before a game, and the results screen). The App shows no ads while you play.

   How the recipient handles it

   Under Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" (policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).

   After you buy "広告を消す（買い切り）" (Remove ads, one-time purchase), the App no longer loads ads and does not send information to Google for ads.
2. Purchases
   The purchase of "Remove ads" is handled by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google). We do not receive your payment information, such as card numbers. The App checks whether the purchase went through and stores a mark of it on your device. The App does not send purchase records to our servers. Purchase records are handled by each store under its own policies.
3. Information stored on your device
   The App stores the following only on your device, to show and run the App. We do not receive it.
   • Play records (the game, the difficulty, the score, the time taken, the numbers of mistakes and hints, and the date and time; the latest 200 plays)
   • For each game and difficulty, the number of plays, your best record, and the last day you played
   • The days you played (to count the days in a row) and marks for "今日の問題" (Today's puzzles) you have played
   • A mark that you bought "Remove ads"
4. What the App does not use
   • The App has no account registration or sign-in, and no place to enter your name or email address.
   • The App does not use your location (such as GPS), contacts, photos, camera, or microphone.
   • The App does not use notifications (and no push notifications).
   • The App contains no analytics or crash-reporting components for us to collect your information (apart from the diagnostic information collected by Google's ad component in section 1).
5. Ads and tracking
   The App does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites (App Tracking Transparency on iPhone and iPad), and does not use the IDFA. Google chooses the ads based on the information in section 1. On Android, you can delete or reset the advertising ID in your device settings (for example, Settings > Privacy > Ads; the names vary by device). You can also change Google's ad personalization in My Ad Center (myadcenter.google.com). We do not sell user information.
6. Operating-system backups
   Depending on your device settings, the App's records may be included in iCloud or Google backups, which are handled under those providers' policies. We do not receive these backups and cannot delete them.
7. Information collected by the operating-system providers
   Downloads from the App Store or Google Play, and diagnostic information you choose to share (such as reports when an app stops working), are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies. We may receive statistics and diagnostic reports from them that do not identify you (such as download counts and the number of crashes). We also see totals in Google AdMob that do not identify you, such as ad impressions, taps, and earnings.
8. Retention and deletion
   Information on your device remains until you delete the App, and is removed when you delete it (unless it is restored from an operating-system backup). Information sent to Google under section 1 is kept and deleted under Google's policies. We do not receive that information for each user, so we cannot delete it on request. We do not store information about users of the App, so there is nothing for us to delete on request.
9. Handling outside Japan
   Google LLC is a company in the United States, and the information in section 1 is handled on Google's systems in the United States and elsewhere.
10. Inquiries
    Information you send through our contact form (such as your name, email address, and message) and by email to [email protected] (such as your email address, name, message, and the app version and device type written in the message) is handled under our Privacy Policy (https://eivrad.com/privacy.html, in Japanese). When you tap "メールでお問い合わせ" (Contact us by email) in the App's Settings, your mail app opens with the address, a subject, and, at the end of the message, the app version and the device type (iPhone, iPad, Android phone or tablet, and the OS version). You decide whether to send it, and you can delete those lines before sending. The App never sends email by itself.
11. Children
    The App is made for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
12. Your rights and how to make a request
    You, or your representative, may ask us, for the personal information we hold about you, to tell you the purposes for which we use it; to disclose it; to correct, add to, or delete it; to stop using it or erase it; to stop providing it to third parties; and to disclose records of any such provision. For this App, the only information we hold is the record of your inquiries. To make a request, open the contact form and select "個人情報の開示等のご請求" (Requests concerning personal information) as the Subject. The procedure is described in section 7 of our Privacy Policy. There is no fee. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may also complain to the data protection authority in your country or region (in Japan, the Personal Information Protection Commission, www.ppc.go.jp).
13. Changes to this policy
    We may change this policy when laws change, when the App's features change, or for similar reasons. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, such as collecting new types of information, sending it to new recipients, or using it for new purposes, we will show the effective date on this page and post the change before that date, and, where possible, also let you know in the App.
